Rebekah Stringahm is the founder and instructor behind The Mahjong Pivot, where she helps players of all skill levels discover the joy, strategy, and connection found in American Mahjong. Through teaching classes, hosting events and creating community, Bekah makes learning fun and accessible while fostering lasting friendships around the table. Above all, she is a devoted mother to her sons, Bruce & Fred, who inspire everything she does.

Angie discovered Mahjong 18 years ago after moving to Virginia. What began as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion. After teaching herself American Mahjong and diving into tournament play, Angie began teaching at her local community center and soon after launched her own business, where she's since taught hundreds of students. Angie is passionate about bringing people of all backgrounds together around the table.
For Dana, Mahjong is more than a game - it is a unique blend of strategy, community and mental clarity that brings people together. Drawing on years of experience teaching hundreds of students as an instructor at Davis Technical College, she brings patience, organization and an approachable teaching style to every Mahjong lesson. Whether working with beginners or experienced players, Dana is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where everyone can learn, connect, and enjoy the game.
